Aarrgghh!!

Wikipedia Showdown - Flex 2.0

Explanation

To help wrap my mind around Flex 2.0, I decided to Flexify an application that I originally wrote as an experiment: the Wikipedia Showdown. It didn't take that long to write in Flex 2.0. Most of the time was spent fine tuning the position of of the elements and what not.

I'm sure it's not the best code. But it did help me wrap my mind around MXML and the new Flex feature "States". One thing I noticed is that, conceptually, writing Flex is like writing well formatted webstandard compliant XHTML. Kinda obvious, considering they're both XML, but it might help you wrap your mind around it.
