| Notes: | My first Cuban in awhile, this is also one of the first Cuban's I can be reasonably sure is genuine. I bought it in St. Maarten during my honeymoon. It is delicious, despite the fact I don't usually enjoy earthy cigars. Something I can't define in the taste made me really like it.
Now construction, left me a little disappointed. The draw was a little tough, but then again, it is a smaller ring gauge, so that is to be expected. But I did have to pull down on it pretty hard. However, it did pack quite a punch for a small cigar so maybe I can let it slide a bit.
As for value, let's face it, if it wasn't a legendary Cuban, I would never justify spending this much money on it... But it is, and so that does push up it's value a bit.
All in all, this was a good cigar, but I would rather save my money for the Montecristo #2. |
