Aarrgghh!!

Twinkle, Twinkle, Cira?

cirrus_center

For the last few nights I've been driving home around 6pm with Janice. We've seen the Cira Center light up. Not only does it have hundreds of tiny bright lights, they change color, they make patterns and they sparkle.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know anything about this? Is it a testing thing, or are they going to do this permanently?

Philly,

Comments

I first saw it a couple weeks ago (the side was sparkling green driving along 76 west), and then I didn't see it again until last night, right outside your old place (when the side facing the river was blue). I hope they keep doing it - very pretty.

hope all is well! we should get together soon.

I live in Philly and go to school at Drexel. From my last dorm, I had a clear view of this building. It definitely seems to be a permanent thing. They have several different patterns that they run through, even sometimes during the day, for whatever reason.

Each window has an array of LEDs that have red, green and blue lights that can show any color of the visible spectrum, much like how your TV or computer monitor displays an image using pixels. It definitely is an impressive sight.
