I don't know how it happend, but it finally has. As of right now, I'm the number 1 listing for Terrence Ryan in Google.

I will have to do a screen capture. Wooooooooooo.

lol, I just clicked through from JSM's comments and saw your post. I was pleased to notice that a Google on my name was yielding my site also, ahead of a professor and a minor hollywood player with the same name...

It's commenting. When you comment on a high-ranking blog, that turns into a link to your page using your name. It's basically a google-bombing technique.
