Background
A Christmas Party was yet another short film I made for work. We had a film contest for our yearly Holiday party, my boss was getting uppity about besting me so this was my entry.
This was a little easier to do this year for a couple reasons.
- I figured out the right tone last year, so I didn't have to work to hard at that.
- I used Frameforge 3d to do the storyboards. This really sped up my pre production and filming.
- I stole from Dickens. Come on, Dickens.
Additionally, I was able to further pursue the weird obsession I have paper media becoming film. The tiles and transitions are all paper/book based with real images become watercolor (Photoshop) illustrations.
Plot
Joe Cruz hates Christmas Parties. Watch as the three Ghosts of Christmas try to convince Joe to go to his office's Christmas party. Will they change him? Watch and find out.
