I think everyone knows by now...

but Terry and I are now engaged. The ring is really beautiful:

We're looking at Sept 2006 for the wedding, but in exchange for the pretty sparkles on my hand, I agreed to a 1 month moratorium on planning. It's driving me nuts!

I feel just a little closer to Gilmore Girls

So, I sit down to watch Gilmore Girls today, and what do I see? Amy Sherman-Palladino and company have the same idea as Citizen Wumpus and company!!
The teaser on tonight's episode was Lorelai and Rory watching their Roomba vaccuums clean the floor while they were on the phone. Lorelai said something like "You know, we could die, and decompose, and it would sweep us up and no one would know, " to which Rory said "Freaky."
It just so happens, a month ago, for the 48 Hour Film contest, Citizen Wumpus made a movie called Proposition 27, in which a Roomba (well, a "Sweepe" that looks remarkably like my Roomba but hopefully won't get us in any copyright trouble) kills people and then sucks them up, leaving hardly a trace. It doesn't like necklaces though. Watch it!
