DST's latest victim: My teeth

So, I headed to the dentist today for my regular cleaning. I walked in, said hello to everyone, and went to sign in, when Annette, the world's best dental-office-worker noticed that she had my appointment down for 2pm.

I had thought it was 2pm, too. But because of DST, I checked the appt card she gave me back in Sept in case technology had failed me. I don't make too many appointments that far in advance, so I hadn't really checked for these sorts of problems before. The little paper card said 3pm, so I waited to go at 3.

Now, we'll never know if it was DST or a clerical error. Annette blamed herself and put me into a cancellation spot tomorrow, because she's sure it's her fault. She took it really hard, because she's just that awesome. And that's why I'm blaming DST.

Stupid DST.

My dentist changed an appointment tonight from 5 to 4. They called though to confirm and argued with me that it was ever scheduled for 5pm. I don't like my dentist though, so I blame them.
