What ever happened to...

Spurred by a co-worker to find out the current status of Cookie Crisp Cereal and Jell-o Pudding Pops, I got to wondering.

What ever happened to carbonated milk?

I wish I could trace more of the thought process that led me to...oh, wait! I have it now. Remember when every new product or business added an E in front of what they were selling? Thank God that's over.

But what ever happened to eMoo, the carbonated milk beverage?

I forget what TV show it was, but some Nightline or 20/20-like thing did a spot on this couple that had developed flavored, carbonated milk. It sounds gross and intriuging at the same time. I don't like a lot of bubbles in my soda, I don't know how I'd feel about them in my milk. Plus, eMoo was really strange colors...like pink and bright orange.

Well, apparently, eMoo was tested on Cornell students, as implied here.

In 2001, it went on the market.

In 2003, the couple who came up with eMoo came out with RPM, or Refreshing Power Milk.

Unfortunately, the homepage of Mac Farms, the maker of eMoo and RPM is just a collection of broken links.

That's about it.

Maybe now I should try doing some of the stuff I'm supposed to be doing now...
